Naval Biographical Database Genealogy
	A record of basic information regarding births, marriages and deaths.  In practice, the most useful data encountered to date is for deaths, with the place or circumstance often given.  When available, this information is provided in the standard 'career' report. There is sometimes a small but useful amount of additional information regarding 'next-of-kin' or other relatives, in various records.  Due to recent programme development, family relationships can now be routinely captured on the database, and will be included with standard reports, if requested;  a similar process is being considered to trace patronage.  © CHD 2005
